The Trip Hostel was awesome! The room was super cozy with free WiFi and air conditioning. I loved the triple bunk beds, they were so much fun and perfect for a group of friends like us. The shared kitchen was great for cooking and meeting new people. it was a great experience!
Personally, I didn't enjoy the shared bathrooms. Others might not mind, but I would have preferred a private one.

I enjoyed the freedom of cooking my own meals and the delicious regional jams for breakfast. The staff was helpful and the shared lounge was a great place to relax. Oh, and let's not forget the free WiFi!
I just loved trying to navigate the area with the "helpful" information provided. So much fun!

The location of the hostel is great, being only a short walking distance from the main bus station and popular tourist spots such as Los Dedos. the staff is friendly and accommodating, providing helpful assistance throughout the stay. the hostel offers a variety of communal spaces, including terraces and a lounge with a bar, encouraging social interaction among guests. the rooms are comfortable, with air conditioning and clean bedding.
The breakfast options could be improved, as they were not as satisfying as expected.

I recently stayed at The Trip Hostel for a few days while exploring the beautiful beaches nearby. The staff, especially Rodrigo, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even upgraded me to my own room! The hostel had a relaxed atmosphere, with a mellow reggae vibe and a large terrace upstairs. The shower had great water pressure and hot water, and the dorm room had air conditioning and lockers. The kitchen, although small, was well-equipped. I also appreciated the free bike hire and surf boards available for rent. The location was perfect, being only a 3-minute walk from the bus terminal and close to both beaches. it was a solid hostel experience with a very chilled and relaxing ambiance.
I strongly recommend this hotel.

The Trip Hostel is my go-to place in Punta del Este. The staff's help at my first stay was amazing. It has everything I need- free Wi-Fi, a shared kitchen, air conditioning, a bar/lounge, picnic area, TV room. Can't wait to come back for New Year's!

Great location, just a short walk from the beach, dining options, and nightlife. Staff went above and beyond to create a friendly and fun atmosphere.
Thin walls, making it hard to sleep with noise from neighboring rooms. Mattresses need to be updated for better comfort.
